Those who choose to hold their meetings at Landgut Stober experience much more than just a conference in beautiful natural surroundings. Between centuries-old plane trees, flowering meadows and the sparkling Lake Groß Behnitz, an inspiring space opens up where new ideas can grow – free from distractions and yet only a stone's throw from the capital.
Architecture also plays an important role at Landgut Stober: modular construction, natural materials and hotel rooms with a distinctive spatial concept are part of the facilities. The estate has also received recognition for its documented environmental measures through the Certified Green Hotel certification (4,704 out of 5,000 points).
Carbon Footprint Assessments for Overnight Stays Since 2013 and Technical Measures on Site
Landgut Stober generates electricity through its own photovoltaic system, uses two wood-chip heating systems for heat supply and collects rainwater in storage tanks with a total capacity of approximately 400 cubic metres for toilet flushing. Charging stations for electric vehicles complement the technical infrastructure.
Carbon footprint assessments have been carried out for overnight stays at Landgut Stober since 2013. When planning events, we also take into account the available technical facilities and our customers' requirements.
Meetings inspired by nature
What does ‘meetings in the countryside’ actually mean? At the Stober estate, it encompasses over 12,000 square metres of outdoor space that can be flexibly used for conferences, banquets or creative formats – from a tent for 1,200 guests to a tent city for multi-day outdoor retreats. Many of our guests today consciously choose to hold workshops or breakout sessions in the open air – with a view of the lake, under plane trees or surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Here, where bald eagles, orioles and cuckoos sing, ideas emerge that often remain hidden in traditional meeting rooms. Brandenburg's oldest plane trees, swamp cypresses and black walnut trees not only provide shade – they also create atmosphere and a connection to nature. The special surroundings provide space for fresh perspectives and creative ideas.

Landgut Stober also has plenty to offer when it comes to dining: our kitchen uses seasonal ingredients and selected products from the region. With great attention to detail, we create dishes for enjoyable conference breaks and shared evening meals.
