Salon Conrad - 178 m2

Salon Conrad is located on the first floor of the Rinderstall and guarantees a very private working atmosphere in which the participants are completely alone, and thus offers the ideal setting for exclusive meetings and conferences of all sizes. Salon Conrad, which can be connected to Salon Arnold, has daylight and can still be blacked out, wireless internet access and the latest technical equipment round off the facilities. Meet in the most sustainable private hotel in Germany 2015/2016 according to VDR.

The salon is named after Conrad von Borsig (1873-1945), he did commercial training as an economist, which included banking and export business. When he came of age in 1894, he became co-owner and commercial director and managed the estate with his brother Ernst Borsig. Around 1923, Conrad retired to his estate in Prillwitz (Pomerania) and devoted himself entirely to the park, which he enlarged to 30 hectares. In addition, Borsig managed a 370-hectare forest operation. Between 1933 and 1938 he transformed the park into a dendrological garden. At the end of the war he was shot by Soviet soldiers in front of his house and buried in the dendrological garden he had created.
